What is Dispatch?
Dispatch is assigning pending delivery orders to drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
Hana dispatch leverages the Google API to create optimized delivery routes. Due to Google's limitations, a single trip can accommodate up to 24 orders.
If a driver has more than 24 deliveries, multiple trips need to be created. For example, 42 deliveries can be split into two trips: one with 24 orders and another with 18 orders.
Accessing Dispatch
To access dispatch in Hana POS:
Open the Hana Dashboard.
Click the Dispatch tab at the top.
Choose between Advanced Dispatch and Quick Dispatch.

Advanced Dispatch vs. Quick Dispatch
Hana offers two types of dispatching options: Advanced Dispatch and Quick Dispatch.
Both assign orders to drivers for delivery, but they differ in functionality, level of control, and overall dispatching experience.

Allows manual reordering of stops and the use of round-trip mode if the driver returns to the shop.
Different Methods to Add Orders to a Trip:
Clicking orders individually to add them.
Polygon selection tool to select multiple orders within an area.
Barcode scanning (scan order supertickets to add them).

2. Quick Dispatch
Quick Dispatch is a simplified version of dispatching where users can quickly assign orders to drivers without advanced routing or mapping tools.
Key Features of Quick Dispatch:
Straightforward Order Assignment:
Simply select the orders and assign them to a driver.
No Google Maps view or route optimization.
Basic Trip Creation:
Allows users to create trips without route optimization.
Faster Dispatch Process:
No need to adjust trip sequences or verify addresses.
Ideal for Small Order Volumes:
Works best for florists who do not require complex route planning.
Best For:
Florists with a low number of deliveries per day.
Shops that manually plan routes or do not require optimization.
Users who just need a quick way to assign deliveries without detailed trip planning.
